Description

St Sebastian's outside the Walls is an ancient Basilica dedicated to St Sebastian, a martyr who died in the 3rd century. The Basilica was built on a catacomb and in fact the word 'catacomb' comes from this site. The First section of St Sebastian's outside the Walls Basilica was built in the 4th century over several pagan tombs and parts of an ancient Roman villa.
