Description

The area where St George at Velabrum's Church is located has a special place in the history of Rome because an ancient tradition claims that it was here that Romulus killed his brother Remus before founding the city. Inside there is a part of the apse painted by Giotto. St George at Velabrum's Church is very popular for weddings, which are celebrated here almost every Saturday.
