Originally the structure of the curch was a single nave , from 1514 onwards, were built the other naves. In the left aisle first two shrines house the frescoes attributed to Donato Palmieri . The main altar, marble colored, originally intended for the church of St. Apollinaris in Rome, was placed in 1744.
