Roma e l'Antico: Reality and vision in 700

From Thursday, December 2, 2010 to Sunday, March 6, 2011 an exhibition dedicated to the artistic and archaeological studies of ancient Rome.

The exhibition aims to focus the main factor in promoting the reputation of the city of Rome: Classical Antiquity. The exhibition about ancient Rome devotes a large section in the system of artistic training in Rome and the spread of his model through examples reality: the Roman Accademia di San Luca, the Academy of San Fernando in Madrid and the Museum of Ferrara Riminaldi.


One section is devoted to museums of Roman antiquities, in order to illustrate the educational role and also their strength in terms of promoting "tourism" for the city.

You'll also find seven sections that trace the history of Rome, through monuments, excavations, restorations and the works of great artists.
