Homo Sapiens

Until April 9, 2012 Rome hosts the international, interactive and multimedia exhibition which tells the story of human diversity.

The six and a half billion women and men who inhabit every region of the globe today are descended from a few thousand founders, separatisi speciation by African ancestor less than two hundred thousand years ago and then used to migrate across the continent of origin and outside it in the Old World, through the Middle East, the coasts of Asia, the Caucasus steppes, up one side and the Far East to Western Europe to the other.



The exhibition "Homo Sapiens - History of Human Diversity" tells the story of migration, drift, and replacements of hybridisation between populations on each continent have spawned ethnic and cultural diversity, in a kind of archeology of globalization, it is precisely the object of this exhibition, in which the humanities and natural sciences with their significatoantropologico penetrate deeper.
